I was hoping there was a way to tell, but if not I might as well just try anyway, and if that doesn't work I'll buy a new copy of Windows, and not have to worry about this in the future.

An interesting note though is that on my laptop, which I'm pretty sure has an OEM as most laptops do, has a product key ending in OEM, however my desktop does not.
