Nvidia geforce 8400m driver for windows 7

Thanks for your feedback. The Nvidia site drivers will not in any case be designed for your Sony model, and even if they install will not give full functionality. The win7 compatibility checker, has in my experience, given false results as to compatibility. My rule of thumb being If the PC maker, or motherboard maker doesnt supply win7 specific drivers, then there is no certainty that will 7 will run correctly.

Thanks for your reply. Compatibility mode did not enable them to install, either. Unfortunately, given the W7 Compatibility checker report that moving from Vista 32 to W7 64 would be successful, and the Sony site indicating that this was the process to check for upgrade capability, I went ahead.

Started a new thread. These cores are very small and consume very little power. Where are you from? These graphics cards are based on the new GPU family: Why they would do a more powerful shader gpu that is weak because have less nvidia geforce gt power?

Hi radelgadogil, Welcome to Sony Community! This is the reason why the setup wizard won't recognize any compatible driver. This version has different features and compatibilities as compared to the one that you can find from their website.

I also read that Windows 7 comes with a driver software but that one doesn't activate all of the functions.
