I don't remember which one of the the following two options resolve my problem, but it cured it I'm not sure it will resolve your problem, but give it a try Put the same device for the voice as the sound device or 2 Open the audio property of window in the task bar in the bottom right of your screen right-click the icon for sound and check if the playback device that are selected there can be more than one are the same as the one s selected in the sound setting tab of FSX.
If it doesn't work, I hope some will find the solution for your problem. Good luck! I messed around with the sound and I played missions and flew previous flights. With the previous saved flights, I could see the previous conversation in the atc box, but when I tried to communicate again, I would click on the command button "contact ground on All of the sound settings also seem to be fine.
Under settings-general in fsx, I have checked off everything in the atc section. The "use a pilot voice" box is checked, but when I click on the box to scroll down and choose a voice ex. The main thing I am worried about is the text, and how the atc box is appearing. I hope there is a solution out there that hopefully does not involve reinstalling fsx Try changing manually the frequency on your active radio to an other one, then re-tune the tower or ATIS frequency manually of course Also, you can try creating a new flight plan with a new airport to depart with Already have an account?

I have no in game sounds at all. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 2 Jan, pm. Posts: 2. By sho , August 21, in Microsoft Flight Simulator Anyone having issues with ATC not having sound?
All I am getting is text in the ATC window. No ATIS either. All sound sliders are on max by the way. I found that changing the excuse the imprecise wording voice source from Azure to Windows--in the settings, fixed this issue.
Richard Chafey. When you first install, there's a prompt to make sure you have the right voice pack installed in windows. That's what MSFS uses. If changing the above setting doesn't work, make sure your Windows has the English voice pack installed. You need to select Windows Offline. Not just Offline. If this is your only choice, then you don't have the correct voice pack installed. You need the En-US see below. Be prepared for a gender change though - You might end up sounding like a big girl.
Some ATC was intermittant with missing voices, or Transmissions were not heard or just a small burst of static was received. This was due to the Azure Servers being "overwhelmed".
