Same here. Or more, was able to do it, but not able to open the game after. Had the installation going like 'successfull' but it was at the end. Guys, the game works perfectly. But only in software resterization or whatever it's called. If I select my own graphics card to play at the beginning when it asks for a 3D engine, it crashes. I don't know how this is fixable.
But with the software resterization you are limited to small resolutions because higher ones are stuttering as hell. If someone has a solution about this, please upload it! I finally figured out how to get this to work. Install the game, then in the game's main folder replace mcm2.
Set mcm2. To the person who uploaded this, you could have at least specified that it was a '. Also, are '. MDS' files used as a way to copy games with copy protection without triggering the copy protection?

I have a lot of great memories playing this game networked to my friends machines. The screen wigs out which may induce an epileptic seizure you'll see what I mean -- but it's just for seconds while the overlay does its thing and then goes away. I remember this game Damn to climb that mountain was the best part of the game you touch the limits and then you went flying far away.
And the races are so fun but a bit Awesome game, sometimes really challenging and with adrenaline rush. Riding in on the coattails of the original, Motocross Madness 2 already had an extremely high bar to shoot for—and it more than surmounted it. With improvements across the board from graphics, to sound effects, gameplay variety, maps, customization, and an exciting online element—the game not only matched the original, but exceeded it.
With games to compete against like Excitebike 64 and Supercross, Motocross Madness 2 had to bring something new to the table. In that regard, it doubled-down on its balancing act of simulation to arcade and brought a multitude of new options. With over 40 new tracks, six event types, a brand-new career mode and online functionality—it offered a lot of bang for its buck.
With that in mind, perhaps the weakest addition to Motocross Madness 2 came from its Pro-Circuit mode, which functioned as a campaign but offered the most repetitive and long races. While more simulation can lead to more realism, more arcade-style can lead to more fun. Some sports games have managed to give a little of both and still remain enjoyable—for example, Slugfest is a great example of a baseball video game that toed-the-line between a simulator like The Show and an arcade game like Mario Superstar Baseball.
That being said, Motorcross Madness 2 does well to give the enjoyment of an arcade racer, while not taking itself too seriously in the implementation—offering great graphics, with flexible realism. That being said, what it lacks it graphics is does make up for in gameplay.
