While Penny is pouring chocolate syrup into her ice cream container, some spills down the side. In the next shot, there is no evidence of the spill.

A few moments later, the spill is back having run down the whole side of the container. When Sheldon pours soda into his glass, the fizz disappears too quickly between shots. He then pours in more, which makes lots of fizz that dissipates at a normal rate. When Sheldon and Leonard are sitting at the cafeteria, Leonard's soda can keeps rotating between shots.

When we first see Penny eating the ice cream, some of it is visible near the top of the carton. It dips much lower without her eating any. Also, a bag of Teddy Grahams moves around the carton on the counter with no one touching it. Sheldon and Penny are doing laundry together. However, the washing machine makes no noise. Undoubtedly, the sound of a washing machine would drown out their dialogue so it is left off.

He gives the same advice to both of them using the Schrodinger's cat experiment to explain his point. Penny needed the explanation where as Leonard understood his point immediatly calling it genious to where Sheldon remarks. Whether or not the cat is alive when someone goes back to check on it is a mystery which concludes that the exsistance of anything is only determined by consciously knowing the truth.

Leonard then goes to Penny's apartment and akwardly brings up Schrodinger's cat to where Penny stops him not wanting to hear it again. He takes a leap of faith and kisses her to where she replies. They at first try the chinese resturant but find Sheldon arguing in Mandarin with the owner so they quickly leave and go somewhere else.

Storyline Edit. Penny has just broken up with her latest boyfriend Mike who blogged about their sex life. Besides feeling embarrassed about the blog contents, she's angry with herself for what she sees as her poor choice in men, who all seem to fit into the same mold.

After a few discussions between the two on her break-up and a few tantrums on Penny's part, Leonard finally asks Penny out on an official date.

Penny agrees despite or perhaps because Leonard does not fit into that mold. Afterward, Penny has second thoughts about going on a date with Leonard and speaks to the one person who she feels can place the best perspective on it: Sheldon.

Leonard too has second thoughts and speaks to his best friend, Sheldon.
